Joseph Reid is a versatile and accomplished musician with a Bachelor's in Music Performance from the University of Georgia and a Master’s from the University of Maryland. With experience across classical, jazz, and contemporary styles, he has performed as a soloist in the National Trumpet Competition as well as with groups like the Athens Symphony Orchestra, Annapolis Opera, and the Terrapin Brass Quintet. His versatility spans genres and settings; he has performed with British brass bands, Latin ensembles, and numerous rock bands in Athens, Georgia’s thriving music scene. In addition to his work on stage, Joseph has experience playing in musical theater pits, bringing precision and flexibility to productions across a range of styles. He is equally comfortable adapting to live band settings or supporting a show from the orchestra pit. He regularly performs at weddings, receptions, religious services, fundraisers, school events, and private parties, offering expressive and polished performances tailored to each event. Additionally, he is available to contract musicians for any occasion, helping clients curate the ideal ensemble.
